Benarty Community Council Young Citizens of the Year Awards

The motion

That the Parliament notes that Benarty Community Council recently presented its annual Young Citizens of the Year Awards; understands that both Maci, from Lochore, and Elliot, from Glencraig are the Young Citizens of the Year for 2022; recognises the work of Maci, who, it understands, over the last few years has been hard at work fundraising in the local community, including Splash for Cash; further recognises the bravery and courage shown by Elliot who, it understands faces severe challenges within his life; commends both award winners for their dedication to the local community over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, and wishes both Maci and Elliot all the very best as they take on the role of being Young Citizen of the Year.
