Beath High School Sport Success Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates both Abbie Smith and Eilidh Poole on having their sporting endeavours recognised as part of the Dunfermline and West Fife Sports Council Sports Awards; understands that Eilidh was put forward for the Sports Personality of the Year and was presented with a recognition for sporting excellence in 2021 for her achievements within karate; further understands Abbie was named as the Active Schools Fife Ambassador of the Year; notes that the awards were first held in 1978 as the sporting Oscars; commends both for their hard work and dedication to promoting sports to their peers, and wishes them all the very best in the future.
