Aberdeen Foyer Receives Nationwide Building Society Grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Foyer for receiving £50,000 from the Nationwide Building Society, which it understands will allow the co-production of six additional affordable homes for young people in Aberdeen and unlock capital investment from Landaid to support the refurbishment costs; notes that Aberdeen Foyer has been supporting people experiencing difficult life situations such as poverty, unemployment and homelessness for 25 years; understands that it works with 130 young people daily, either as tenants or those at risk of homelessness, and wishes all at Aberdeen Foyer all the best for the future.
