Commending North East Generosity Towards Ukraine

The motion

That the Parliament commends the work of the charity, Own Woman, and North East and Banffshire and Buchan food producers, which, it understands, have stepped up to send what it believes is much-needed humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine; understands that Gray Farms Ltd, Portsoy, donated 17 and a half tons of potatoes grown on its Portsoy farm, Hamylns of Scotland, Boyndie, donated two tons of porridge oats, Deans of Huntly donated 600 kilos of Shortbread and Own Woman provided transport and logistics to get the donated food to those in dire need, and thanks all involved in what it sees as this fantastic display of humanity.
