Cora Deegan Success at Eurodance
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cora Deegan, nine, who is from Port Glasgow and is a pupil at Greenock’s Lauren Hair Dance Company, on being crowned overall winner at Eurodance in the under-10s starter category in Bristol; understands that Cora also won the fast, slow and freestyle competition in her age groups, clinching a place to compete in an event in Benalmadena in the Costa Del Sol in May; further understands that tutor, Lauren has taught Cora since she was four-years-old and says her Euro crown is well deserved given the several hours a week that she commits to her dancing; understands that another bonus from Cora’s competition success is that she will now get all her outfits free of charge after being sponsored by Adrenaline Costumes, and wishes Cora all the best as she prepares to compete in the major continental competition in May 2022.
