Mauchline’s Kaity Hall Awarded Badminton Europe Diversity Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mauchline’s, Kaity Hall for her Badminton Europe Diversity Award at the BEC Gala Awards in Malta on 9 April 2022; understands that Kaity has been involved with disability badminton for almost 15 years, and that her work has seen her travel across the world to enhance opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in the sport; further understands that Kaity and the other nominees have worked hard to improve accessibility in disability badminton, helping to get more women and refugees involved in sport; understands that Kaity has been involved with Mauchline Games Hall Badminton Club, and that this award will help to increase visibility for the disability badminton charity, and wishes Kaity well as she continues to improve accessibility to sport across Mauchline and beyond.
