Stirling-based Football Club Wins the Blackpool Cup

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Stirling-based under-17 team, GSR Central Academy, on winning the prestigious Blackpool Cup; understands that the team was undefeated in the round robin section having faced teams from Northern Ireland, England and the Republic of Ireland; further understands that GSR Central Academy played Parkvilla FC from the Republic of Ireland in the final, which it won on penalties 5-4, and understands that GSR Central Academy comprises of boys from across Stirlingshire, many of whom hope to secure a scholarship to American universities.
