Aberdeen Harbour Donates £30,000 to North East Good Causes
The motion
That the Parliament commends Aberdeen Harbour Board on its donation of £30,000 to local charities, CFINE, the Inchgarth Community Centre, Big Noise Torry and the Dennis Law Legacy Trust; recognises the continued support that the Harbour has given to local community groups and charities, noting that the Harbour has donated more than £600,000 to 50 charities and community groups across Aberdeen since establishing its “supPORT-all” community programme in 2014; understands that this funding will allow these organisations to invest in projects that will be of benefit to local families and individuals; appreciates what it sees as the vital work that these community groups and charities do for people in Aberdeen and across the north east, and wishes the Harbour and all charities and community groups continued success in their activities.
