Musselburgh Tennis Club Awarded Regional and National Winners for Communities and Parks of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Musselburgh Tennis Club on being awarded the regional and national winners for Communities and Parks of the Year Award at the national 2022 LTA Tennis Awards; understands that winners were judged from over 2,000 public nominations, and were first judged by 38 county associations, resulting in 380 county award winners, who were then put forward for regional awards, which Musselburgh Tennis Club has won; acknowledges that this is a great achievement for Musselburgh Tennis Club; believes that it demonstrates its dedication to tennis; hopes that this award encourages more people to take up the sport locally, and wishes Musselburgh Tennis Club the best in its future endeavours.
