Three Members of North Shore Surf Club Make the Scotland Squad for the European Junior Surfing Championships

The motion

That the parliament congratulates Olivia Mackay from Portskerra, Craig McLachlan from Murkle and Nadia Murray from Thurso for being part of the 10-strong Scotland squad for the European Junior Surfing Championships, taking place in July 2022; understands that the team members are currently raising funds to go towards their expenses for the competition in Lisbon, and have already received support from several businesses; further understands that they are all members of the North Shore Surf Club, which boasts over 40 members and works towards growing a good kids’ surfing community, and wishes the Scotland team success in the Junior Championships.
