Larbert High School Reaches Finals of the Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Larbert High School on successfully reaching the finals of the Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition; understands that the school team is one of 52 finalists in the UK-wide competition, which garnered over 200 entries from young people aged 11 to 19 years of age; considers the competition to be enormously important in recognising and rewarding the work of those entering, whilst building confidence, encouraging problem solving and enhancing teamwork skills; congratulates Larbert High School and its team for being one of only two Scottish schools to reach the finals of the Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition, and wishes everyone involved all the best in their endeavours and looks forward to the competition winner being announced at the Big Bang Fair on 22 June 2022, in Birmingham.
