Lanarkshire’s Youth ESports Tournament

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire’s youth eSports group on hosting their first tournament; understands that 44 teams across 12 schools in North Lanarkshire, participated in the Future Fridays Esports Championships over a period of four weeks, with Coltness High School's Gaming Gang winning the Fortnite Competition and Brannock High’s Concordia, winning the Rocket League Tournament; further understands that Wishaw-based, The Brave JNR was founded in 2019 by Emma Williamson after seeing how much her own daughter enjoyed gaming and witnessed the benefits of eSports first hand, and wishes everyone who participated and The Brave Jnr all the best for the future.
