Dayn Montgomery, Prestwick

The motion

That the Parliament applauds eight-year-old Dayn Montgomery, from Prestwick, who donated over 302 Easter treats, toiletries, and toys to sick children in hospital; understands that Dayn received help from the scout group that he attends, as well as other scout groups in the area and Morrison’s supermarket; commends Dayn for donating the treats and supplies to children at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Yorkhill Charity; understands that Dayn regularly attends the Royal Hospital for Children because he has complex heart defects; notes that Dayn previously gifted 215 selection boxes for children at Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock at Christmas, and congratulates Dayn for his charitable work and dedication to helping children like himself.
