Keep Scotland Beautiful Birthday Celebrations

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Keep Scotland Beautiful on its 22nd birthday and on its achievements over the last two decades, including helping to keep Scotland the beautiful place that it is with a vision for a clean, green sustainable country that, it believes, inspires people to take action to protect and enhance the places where they live, learn, invest, work and visit; understands that Keep Scotland Beautiful, which is one of Scotland’s leading charities for the environment, works with communities, schools and resident groups across the length and breadth of the country to tackle climate change, tackle litter and improve communities; further understands that on its birthday week, Keep Scotland Beautiful has been inviting everyone to join with it to celebrate the first ever Keep Scotland Beautiful Week, which runs from 9 to 13 May 2022, and wishes Keep Scotland Beautiful every success with its positive campaign for a cleaner and more beautiful Scotland for all to enjoy.
