Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC Shortlisted for Charity Climate Award
The motion
That the Parliament commends Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC on being shortlisted in the Climate Conscious category in the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Scottish Charity Awards 2022; understands that the Climate Conscious award commemorates organisations that are making a positive contribution to the climate change agenda with actions, including reducing their own carbon footprints, incorporating environmental sustainability into their everyday activities or helping their community to achieve a just transition to net zero; further understands that SCVO, which is the national membership organisation for the voluntary sector, aims to support, promote and develop a confident, sustainable voluntary sector in Scotland; understands that Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC is a Bo’ness-based social enterprise created and designed to address a wide range of social and environmental issues within the local area; believes that the contributions by the organisation have been invaluable to environmental progress in the Falkirk area, and congratulates the team at Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC on their achievement in being shortlisted.
