The motion

That the Parliament applauds the hard work and generosity of the OWN Woman charity and Polish Association Aberdeen for successfully organising and sending over 191 tonnes of humanitarian aid, worth, it understands, nearly £1.2 million, to Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Ukraine; understands that both Adrianna Sosnowska and Kacha Cwiklinska have been instrumental in achieving this success by co-operating with other many other kind volunteers and organisations to co-ordinate aid deliveries from the beginning of the conflict; further understands that 15 lorries, seven vans and one coach have been filled with donations from the selfless people across Aberdeen Donside, the north east and wider Scotland; understands that drivers and transportation have also been donated by volunteers and organisations from Scotland and Ukraine alike; further understands that there are no plans to cease aid deliveries until the conflict ends, which means that the impressive tally of goods delivered to date will continue to grow as required; commends all those that have volunteered or donated to the cause, and wishes them all the best in the future.
