Orkney Baby Bank

The motion

That the Parliament commends Janine Channon and Katie Lawrie for setting up the Orkney Baby Bank; understands that it was set up to provide essential items for newborn babies, including buggies, baby carriers and bibs; considers that the ongoing cost of living crisis has had a real impact on families across Orkney, putting additional pressure on household incomes; believes that the Orkney Baby Bank will help families at an important time, and offers its best wishes to Janine, Katie and all of the volunteers at the Orkney Baby Bank for their efforts.
