Western Wildcats Hockey Club Wins Scottish Cup
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Milngavie-based, Western Wildcats Hockey Club on winning the Scottish Cup for the first time since 2011; understands that this was achieved through a 6-0 victory over Hillhead at Peffermill and that this was the team's third trophy of the season; congratulates, Fraser Calder, Fraser Moran, Johnny Christie, Calum Duke, Adam MacKenzie and Andrew McConnell for scoring the winning goals; understands that the club was founded in 1898, making it the oldest hockey club in Scotland, since which time it has lifted the Scottish Cup over 10 times, and wishes the club continued success in the future.
