Clydebank Cheerleading Group win Scotland’s First Gold Medal at World Championship

That the Parliament congratulates Senior Black Champion Dance and Cheer Group from Clydebank on winning Scotland’s first gold medal at the Cheerleading and Dance World Championships in April 2022; understands that Champion Dance and Cheer was set up in 2000 and currently trains 130 athletes from across Scotland; further understands that Senior Black has been competing at the World Championships since 2009 after winning numerous national championships and now that they have won for the first time, they are setting out their new goals for staying on top; applauds the team for this outstanding achievement, and wishes them all the best for the future.
