National Lottery Funding for Nwkleus Social Club

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Nwkleus Social Club’s success in securing £2,600 from The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will allow the Kilmarnock-based club to meet twice weekly, cover the cost of hall rental for a year and fund a Christmas outing; applauds Nwkleus Social Club’s efforts to provide social interaction within the community to reduce loneliness and isolation; believes that reducing loneliness and isolation are key factors in improving wellbeing; commends Nwkleus Social Club on its continued efforts to support the local community, and wishes them continued success in the future.
