National Lottery Awards for All Scotland Supports Newmilns Regeneration Association
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Newmilns Regeneration Association on its successful application to receive £4,370 from the National Lottery Community Fund, which it understands will enable it to purchase Christmas decorations and support the associated switch-on event and Christmas Fayre; recognises what it sees as the important contribution that the National Lottery plays in supporting causes that aim to help improve local communities and the lives of people across south Scotland; commends the Newmilns Regeneration Association for its efforts to drive improvements and strengthen the sense of community in Newmilns, and wishes them every success in their future endeavours.
