Volunteers' Week 2022

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Volunteers’ Week 2022 between 1 and 7 June; notes that the Volunteers’ Week campaign started in 1984 and is marking its 38th anniversary; understands that the campaign has a simple theme and focus of saying "thank you" to all volunteers, and believes that this excellent initiative rightly recognises the hard work and commitment of all volunteers, and the important contribution they make to their local communities, the voluntary sector and Scotland.
