Camphill School Aberdeen - Pioneering Project Nominee

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Camphill School Aberdeen on its nomination for the Pioneering Project award for its pop-up vaccination centre at the upcoming SCVO Scottish Charity Awards, to be held at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on 15 June 2022; notes the success of the pop-up vaccination centre, which was delivered in partnership with NHS Grampian and was the first of its kind in Scotland for young people with learning disabilities, and it understands achieved a vaccination rate of 98%; further notes the positive impact that the wider activities of Camphill School Aberdeen have had for people aged up to 25 years who have learning disabilities; celebrates the achievements of the 40 voluntary organisations shortlisted for awards for their fantastic work across Scotland, and wishes Camphill School Aberdeen and all nominated voluntary organisations continued success in their vital work.
