Hermitage Academy Gains Gold Accreditation in UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Programme.

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Hermitage Academy of Helensburgh for gaining Gold Accreditation in the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Programme; commends the efforts of the young people and senior leadership team for being, it understands, the first school in Argyll & Bute to have been awarded Gold; notes that assessors looked at “the whole school’s rights respecting work and the impact that has been made through embedding children’s rights into school life”, and applauds the commitment and dedication of the entire school community on this achievement.
