Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the winners at the Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards 2022; notes that Glenpark Harriers won Club of the Year, Greenock Wanderers RFC Ladies won Team of the Year, Lewis Hainey won Junior Sports Personality of the Year, Jonny Glen won Senior Sports Personality of the Year, Isaac Dunning and Michael Smith jointly won Young Volunteer of the Year, Emma Forster won Coach of the Year, Andy Cameron won Adult Volunteer of the Year, and Aimee Hagan won Disabled Sports Personality of the Year; recognises that the prizegiving event is hugely popular among Inverclyde’s sporting community and is an opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate each other’s achievements; offers its commiserations to the runners-up, and thanks all those across the Greenock and Inverclyde constituency who are involved in sport and give up their time to enable people of all ages and abilities to participate.
