Free BMX Lessons for Young People
The motion
That the Parliament notes that young BMXers will be able to try their hand at the sport by taking free lessons in Glasgow; understands that the two-hour sessions over two consecutive weeks are running from 2 June to 8 September 2022, with 200 places available for young people aged eight to 15; further understands that they will get to use the tracks at the state-of-the-art Glasgow BMX Centre; hopes that these free sessions will encourage the next generation to develop their skills; acknowledges that the city will host rounds one and two of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup, which will be the first international BMX event to take place in the city since the 2018, and wishes all competitors the best of luck.
