Larkhall Academy Presented with Excellence in Professional Learning Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all pupils and staff at Larkhall Academy following the school being presented with the Excellence in Professional Learning Award; understands that this award was presented by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTC Scotland), an independent professional and regulatory body for teaching; notes that the award celebrates and recognises schools that support and lead professional learning, which has a positive impact on teachers, classroom practice and the learning of children and young people, and believes that this award is testament to the hard work, creativity and dedication of the teaching staff.
