City of Glasgow College Graduates Join Team UK for WorldSkills Shanghai 2022

The motion

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the huge contribution that Scotland’s college sector makes to technical education and training; looks forward to WorldSkills Shanghai 22, which will celebrate the value of technical education and training; congratulates City of Glasgow College graduates, George Hutchison and Simona (Simi) Federova, who will represent City of Glasgow College and the UK at WorldSkills Shanghai 2022; believes that this success underlines City of Glasgow College’s ongoing commitment to skills excellence, as well as the ambition, determination and hard work of students, trainers, coaches and employers, and wishes George, Simona and all of Team UK success as they aim to improve on their impressive 12th position at WorldSkills Kazan 2019, and finish in the top 10 this time.
