Irvine Musician to Release First Album

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Irvine’s Stuart Spence on releasing his band, Odia's, first album on 6 June 2022; understands that Stuart formed the band with the French violinist, Perrine Missemer, and Malaysian uilleann piper, Faliq Auri, over social media during lockdown, and that they have never met; notes that the band has been influenced by a number of artists to create its eclectic, high-energy, yet reflective, sound; further notes that the project was one demo that blossomed into an EP; congratulates Stuart and his bandmates on their innovative style, and wishes them every success for the future.
