Schools Across Motherwell and Wishaw Taking Part in the Tinto Hill Challenge
The motion
That the Parliament recognises pupils from Coltness High School and St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw, and Our Lady’s High School, Dalziel High School, and Braidhurst High School in Motherwell, on completing the Tinto Hill Challenge to raise funds for St Andrew’s Hospice; understands that young people from schools across Motherwell and Wishaw came together in the annual fundraising efforts for the hospice for the first time after three years due to restrictions; notes that the hospice provides specialist palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, and that its mission to provide support not only for patients, but also for their loved ones and carers, is central to its ethos; thanks the pupils and teachers who took part in the challenge for their efforts, and wishes them, and St Andrew’s Hospice, all the best for the future.
