Commending the Work of East Kilbride Heritage Group
The motion
That the Parliament commends East Kilbride Heritage Group on the creation of a book to celebrate the town’s 75th anniversary; understands that Tales From Roundabout The Town includes a range of stories and recollections since the town was granted new town status, in May 1947, to the present day, and further understands that the book will be circulated in local schools and care homes to be used as a reminisce and teaching resource.
