Dean Park Primary 3 Raises Awareness of Water Pollution

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff of P3A, P3B, and P3C at Dean Park Primary School, Balerno, on raising £180 on behalf of WaterAid; recognises that the P3 year group has been learning about the difficulties that people in some countries experience in accessing clean drinking water; praises everyone involved for their efforts in helping to raise awareness of the problems of water pollution; understands that this money was raised through planning and carrying out a “water walk” where participants walked for 30 minutes whilst carrying water, and thanks the pupils for taking the time to relay their concerns to their MSP.
