Celebrating Arran’s First Pride March

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the first-ever Pride march on the Isle of Arran on 4 June 2022; understands that the event included a Grand Parade, a picnic in the park near Brodick Hall and a ceilidh; is aware that Arran Pride was an event for all the island to enjoy and also offered some much needed opportunities for local businesses and crafters, many of whom helped to make the village look bright and cheery by dressing their shop windows with bright rainbow colours, and hopes that everyone who attended Arran Pride had an enjoyable and unforgettable day.
