Ayrshire Cancer Support
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Ayrshire Cancer Support, which has a cancer support centre in Ayr, for receiving The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2022; understands that this is the highest award that a local voluntary group can achieve in the UK; recognises that Ayrshire Cancer Support provides emotional and practical help to people affected by cancer; commends the volunteers at the charity for their hard work, which has been instrumental in achieving the award; notes that the award comes 40 years after the charity first began assisting people with cancer; congratulates everyone at Ayrshire Cancer Support on their achievement, and wishes them the very best for the future.
