Dalkeith Girls Raise £700 for the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates King’s Park Primary School pupils Kristin Bell and Bea Knight on raising £700 for the Red Cross Ukraine appeal; understands that the girls raised the money by holding a bake sale and impressively undertook the organisation and advertising themselves for the events; notes that Kristin and Bea also held a successful bake sale in October 2021, raising £400 for Cancer Research, and plan to hold further events to raise more money for charity; praises the charitable spirit of both Kristin and Bea and the Dalkeith community, who rallied behind them in support; thanks Kristin and Bea for their work for charity, and wishes them the best in their future events.
