NSPCC Childhood Day

The motion

That the Parliament supports the NSPCC’s Childhood Day on 10 June 2022; understands that this landmark day brings communities together across Scotland and the United Kingdom to have fun, volunteer and protect children; acknowledges what it sees as the important support that the NSPCC provides to babies, children, young people and families across Scotland through the provision of therapeutic services to strengthen the parent-child relationship, the NSPCC Helpline, Childline, and work in schools; specifically commends what it considers as the innovative approach of Together for Childhood, a long-term partnership project to help make the community of Govan safer for children, and recognises what it sees as NSPCC’s unrelenting focus on identifying what works in preventing abuse and neglect from happening.
