Success for Ayr United’s Ladies Development Team

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Catrine’s Rachel Scott of Ayr United’s Ladies Development Team as she won SWFL Player of the Year at the annual Scottish Women’s Football Awards; understands that Rachel began playing football at age 13 and has been playing with the Ayr United team for the past five years; acknowledges that she has scored an impressive 63 goals over the team's last season and recognises this as an incredible achievement at the age of 22; believes that she now also coaches children’s classes of both boys and girls; notes that the awards gala was held in Glasgow on 4 June 2022, and wishes Rachel every success in her future endeavours.
