Saltire Facilities Management Awarded Place on New Electric Charging Point Framework
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bellshill-based Saltire Facilities Management on being awarded a place on the new Scotland Excel framework for electric charging points; understands that this is the first charging point framework from Scotland Excel, as the national centre of procurement expertise for the local government sector, and is valued at an estimated £80 million over the next four years; notes that Saltire Facilities Management is one of twelve Scottish small and medium-sized enterprises that have secured a place on the framework, and acknowledges what it sees as the important role that the framework could play in helping councils move across to ultra low emission fleets through the supply, installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
