Peterhead Academy
The motion
That the Parliament commends Peterhead Academy for their innovative work, and providing a warm welcome to Ukrainian refugees in the north east, and notes that the pupils took part in interdisciplinary learning afternoons to develop new skills, promote kindness and raise awareness of the situation in Ukraine, which included making wooden toys, baking shortbread for the Ukrainian guests, learning to speak Ukrainian, and learning about Ukraine's history, culture and politics.
