Say It Out Loud - Marr College, Troon

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the pupils of Marr College in Troon for their work in the school in achieving a “Say It Out Loud” charter; understands that this achievement recognises the pupils who have created a safe space for their peers, which encourages them to talk about their mental health and seek support; notes that student mental health ambassadors set up mental health drop-in sessions and a mental health hub; recognises that the team also encouraged the school to update its website with resources for pupils who are interested in seeking help with their mental health; congratulates Marr College for being the fourth school in South Ayrshire to achieve this charter, and wishes them the very best for the future.
