Rachel Scott, Ayr United - Scottish Women's Football's Player of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Ayr United’s Rachel Scott for winning Scottish Women’s Football’s Player of the Year; understands that this is a highly coveted award for players and Rachel faced stiff competition from across the country; recognises that this award highlights Rachel’s success this season, which has seen her score 63 goals; congratulates Rachel for her passion for football since she began playing at the age of 13; considers that Rachel’s success will prove to be an example for future generations of female footballers; commends Rachel for her success, and wishes her the very best for the future.
