Beith Juniors Win Scottish Lowland Development League Title

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Beith Juniors FC Men’s U20s team on winning the Scottish Lowland Development League title; understands that the inaugural league campaign saw 16 teams enter the league at the start of the season with nine of them still competing for the title in the last round of fixtures; is aware that Beith Juniors FC had their champions title status confirmed and received their trophy following the conclusion of their final league game against Auchinleck Talbot; notes the significant contribution of the manager, Mark Young, who built the team from scratch; acknowledges that Mark will now join Maryhill FC, while many of his players will endeavour to make their own first steps into the senior ranks of Scottish football, and wishes both Mark and everyone at Beith Juniors FC well for the future.
