Publication of "How we Meet the Mental Health Needs of All Scots"
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of How we meet the mental health needs of all Scots by Scotland’s Mental Health Partnership; recognises that it has been shaped by the expertise and experiences of the partnership’s 17 members; understands that it is seeking to influence the development of the Scottish Government’s own Mental Health Strategy refresh; welcomes its proposals, which extend across all walks of life, including around adopting a “Promote, Prevent, Provide” approach to fostering good mental health for all while also providing high-quality services for those with mental health conditions, and welcomes the opportunity provided by the partnership to engage with this agenda for change, including through a forthcoming parliamentary event.
