Unveiling of Bainsford War Memorial

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that a new war memorial was unveiled in Bainsford on 10 June 2022; congratulates the Bainsford War Memorial Association and the people of Bainsford for erecting this memorial; understands that 224 men from Bainsford lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars, and further understands that the Bainsford War Memorial will give a focal point for people to pay respects to those from their own community who made what it sees as the ultimate sacrifice.
