Netherburn Primary School Wins Making a Difference (Primary) Award

The motion

That the Parliament commends Netherburn Primary School in South Lanarkshire on being awarded a Making a Difference (Primary) Award; understands that, with no library close by, the village was missing out on reading for enjoyment, and the school sought to bridge this accessibility gap by updating its library and opened it to the community; further understands that the library has now become an integral part of the local community, and believes that this is an excellent community initiative championed by both pupils and teachers.
