That the Parliament congratulates One Community Scotland on receiving £93,110 in grant funding from the National Lottery Community Fund for a three-year programme supporting 18 volunteers and 90 young people aged 12 to 18 from New Scots backgrounds who are living in Glasgow, in order to tackle the causes of social exclusion and antisocial behaviour; agrees with One Community Scotland that Scotland is a friendly country with great opportunities, and welcomes its work to ensure that everyone can make the most of those opportunities and contribute to the success of the country; considers that unemployment, poor housing and poverty continue to have a disproportionate effect on BAME people in Scotland, and commits to tackling racism wherever and whenever it occurs.
