Irvine Runner Completes Edinburgh Marathon
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Irvine's Craig Paton for completing the Edinburgh Marathon in a bid to raise funds for national charity Who Cares? Scotland, to continue with what it sees as its vital work and to grow the Care Experienced community; understands that Craig started running during lockdown and wanted to set himself a challenge to mark his 30th birthday; notes that Craig set a goal of £500, which he surpassed, raising over £1,000; congratulates Craig on exceeding his goal, and sends him birthday wishes for his 30th Birthday.
