Reading Challenge
The motion
That the Parliament commends the schools, teachers and pupils who took part in the First Minister's reading challenge, with nearly 600 schools, libraries and community groups taking part in this year's challenge; notes that the reading challenge aims to support children to develop and expand a love of reading, foster empathy, creativity and confidence of those taking part, and further notes that Findochty Primary School in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast constituency excelled in the challenge with four pupils winning awards, a fantastic achievement for the pupils and also the school.
