MuseumWeek 2022

That the Parliament recognises MuseumWeek 2022, which ran from 13 to 19 June 2022; understands that MuseumWeek is an international community of professionals working in galleries, libraries, archives, museums, science and music centres, and other cultural organisations who are interested in having a social impact through culture; notes that, since 2014, MuseumWeek has grown to include over 60,000 participants from more than 100 countries, and understands that it has become the first virtual, worldwide cultural event on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Weibo, WeChat and VKontakte; further notes that the theme of this year's Week is "culture, society and innovation", and it has a particular focus on digital art, including the role of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and blockchain technology, and congratulates MuseumWeek on a successful event.
