20th Anniversary of the NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the NHS Golden Jubilee, in Clydebank, on its 20th Anniversary; understands that the hospital was purchased in 2002 and now has a national portfolio, which combines what it sees as a top-quality hospital with hotel, conference facilities and centres for research, clinical skills and innovation; believes that the Golden Jubilee National Hospital is home to world-class centres for heart and lung services, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging, and carries out a range of planned procedures to assist NHS boards in reducing patient waiting times, and providing three of Scotland’s national services; considers that the Golden Jubilee Research Institute delivers world-leading research, having been awarded University Hospital status in April 2022 by the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow; thanks all of the staff for their brilliant and continuous hard work, and wishes the NHS Golden Jubilee all the best for the future.
